The PianoEAFIT festival that took place at the end of November 2023 was a wonderful experience. I met teachers from different parts of the world, I interacted with students who are as passionate about the piano as I am, and I lived a very enjoyable moment that I will always keep in my mind and heart. Medellín is a very beautiful city, and the EAFIT university is located in one of the safest and most beautiful areas of it. I recommend every pianist, regardless of their nationality or age, to try to apply to be part of this festival, it is very worth it.

Refreshing, objective and constructive; is for me the perfect description of the PianoEAFIT Festival. The university has very good facilities and pianos available. The academic, vocational and professional preparation of each teacher, added to the proactive and purposeful attitude, makes this course a comprehensive experience. The student environment is wonderful, very varied and rich, which only adds to the expectations. The student and faculty recitals, and master classes are windows to small universes of infinite musical possibilities, all without leaving Latin America. I recommend this course to anyone preparing for a contest, audition, or professional exam, as well as anyone interested in hearing alternate opinions and getting out of their comfort zone. It is an experience that should be lived at least once in a lifetime.

Mi nombre es Alejandro y participé en el curso de perfeccionamiento PianoEAFIT del 2022. Fue una gran oportunidad para avanzar en mis habilidades con el piano y recoger conocimiento de parte de los maestros invitados, ya fuera en las clases individuales mías, de otros compañeros, en las clases maestras o en los recitales. Además, es un espacio perfecto para conocer más pianistas que van por el mismo camino e igualmente cosechar experiencias y amistades enriquecedoras.
